Frequently asked questions
Everything you need for a carefree day in Bacuit Bay: a spacious two-level boat with shaded and sunny areas, an accredited local guide, experienced crew, lunch, snacks, drinking water and cold drinks, a towel, water shoes, mask and snorkel, life jackets and kayak use. The required environmental and lagoon fees are also included. No hidden fees.
K1 – Big Lagoon, Hidden Beaches & Snorkeling Areas
Runs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
K2 – Small Lagoon, Caves, Helicopter Island & Vibrant Reefs
Runs every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Meet & Greet is at 10:00 AM. Departure is at 10:30 AM. From there, our team will assist you with boarding. The tour returns to El Nido at approximately 5:30–6:00 PM. Please arrive on time so we can complete registration and boarding without delaying the rest of the group.
Yes. We offer several private experiences, including traditional bangka tours, the Premium Private Kraken Experience and private speedboat tours. Private tours offer greater flexibility in timing and itinerary, always subject to availability. Contact us and we will help you choose the best option for your group.
Yes. The tour price includes the ETDF environmental fee, the applicable lagoon entrance fee and kayak use. You will not be asked to pay unexpected entrance fees during the tour.
Check-in takes place at the Kraken Tours office, located on Serena Street, Barangay Buena Suerte, directly on the beachfront beside El Nido’s floating dock.
Safety always comes first. Tours operate according to the official assessment of the Philippine Coast Guard, local maritime authorities and our captain. Rain or cloudy weather alone does not normally mean that a tour will be cancelled. If some destinations are restricted but sailing is still permitted, the route may be adjusted to visit the safest available locations. If the tour is officially cancelled by Kraken because of Coast Guard restrictions or unsafe sea conditions, you will receive a 100% refund. However, if the tour is authorised to operate and goes ahead, a guest’s personal decision not to join will not be eligible for a refund.
Absolutely. Families and children are very welcome on Kraken tours. Child-sized life jackets are available, but please provide the ages of all children when booking so we can prepare the correct safety equipment and make the necessary arrangements. Children must remain under the supervision of their accompanying adult throughout the tour.

Yes. Pets are welcome, but please let us know in advance when making your reservation.
Yes. The order of the stops—and occasionally the destinations themselves—may change due to weather, tides, sea conditions, local permits, temporary closures, visitor traffic or instructions from the Coast Guard and local authorities. Our captain and guide will always choose the safest and best available route. While we aim to deliver the core experience of K1 or K2, specific stops cannot be guaranteed. Changes to the itinerary do not entitle guests to a partial or full refund.
